In December 2017, another important step was taken in the field of test services, ifak technology + service GmbH was successfully audited by the FieldComm Group.

For device manufacturers it is now possible to carry out the device test directly in Europe. The advantage lies in the fact that, especially for European device manufacturers, the effort for shipping the device to the test laboratory is considerably reduced. ifak technology + service GmbH is involved in the process of registering a HART device, so that after a successful device test, the device integration can be checked based on a Device Description or a FDI Device Package. Furthermore, ifak technology + service GmbH offers device manufacturers a HART device test, which can be carried out independently of the device registration.
