Puchheim, 08.04.2026 (PresseBox) - With the EdgeX-6000, BRESSNER Technology GmbH expands its portfolio with a powerful platform for edge AI and high-performance computing (HPC). The system from ARBOR Technology received the “Best in Show Award” from Embedded Computing Design at embedded world 2026 and is designed for data-intensive applications directly at the point of data generation.
The EdgeX-6000 combines data center-level computing performance with a half-rack form factor tailored for edge deployments. Equipped with an AMD EPYC™ Embedded 8004 processor with up to 64 cores and up to 576 GB of DDR5 ECC memory, the platform enables real-time processing of large data volumes.
A key feature is its high scalability: the system supports up to four dual-slot GPUs or eight single-slot expansion cards, making it ideal for parallel workloads such as AI training, inference, and simulations.
Computing power where data is generated
The EdgeX-6000 represents a fundamental shift in IT architecture: high-performance computing is increasingly moving from centralized data centers to the edge of the network. This development is driven by requirements such as real-time analytics, low latency, and data sovereignty.
